Visa’s very own Olabisi Boyle, a senior director in Visa’s Internet of Things (IoT) program, took the stage at the Women in Payments 2018 Symposium to receive the prestigious Women in Payments Innovation of the Year award. This honor is awarded to the individual who best promotes payments innovation through creativity, vision and perseverance.
It’s no surprise to us that Bisi was recognized – she oversees activities related to the connected car category, and is responsible for commercializing in-vehicle payment solutions featuring cutting edge payment technology, identifying strategic partnerships, and managing the cross-functional team to bring these new payment experiences to fruition (to name a few!). Prior to her exceptional work at Visa, Bisi blazed trails in engineering and manufacturing at Chrysler Automotive and Ford Motor Company, and has achieved numerous awards, honors, and accomplishments, including election as co-chair and board member of the Chrysler African American Network and board member of the Detroit area Pre-College Engineering Program (DAPCEP).
