At Visa, International Women’s Day kicked off on March 8th and extends the entire month with over 50 events around the globe. Visa EVP and CEO in Europe, Charlotte Hogg was joined by Chief Diversity Officer, Jolen Anderson to host a panel discussion from the Visa London office where executives and clients discussed the work being done to “Press for Progress” and what is required of men and women to create an environment where everyone can thrive. Visa believes in empowering and advancing the careers of all women leaders and that is reinforced by our commitment to equality, opportunities for mentorship, growth and support.
Gender is a proxy for a form of experience, but you want all of those experiences. Men and women, different sexual orientations, different ethnic minorities, different social backgrounds - all of that is important. If this celebrating International Women’s Day helps us to celebrate all forms of diversity, then I think we’re in a good place.– Charlotte Hogg, EVP and CEO Europe at Visa
