Ready to walk the catwalk? Visa is back for its fourth season as the Official Payment Technology Partner of New York Fashion Week: The Shows (NYFW) – leveraging its presence to champion women and bring to life the glamour that extends to the runway and beyond.

Groundbreaking achievements of women in sports, fashion and entrepreneurship inspire a week of activities including: an innovative Visa pop-up activation in Spring Studios, a Visa-hosted panel highlighting the intersection of sports and fashion, and a new edition of a signature Visa innovation competition that will award a women-founded or co-founded company up to $25,000.

Women-Led Startups Pitch Their Cutting-Edge Ideas for Retail

New this season, female entrepreneurs with cutting-edge technology ideas to push retail forward will participate in The Visa Everywhere Initiative (VEI): Fashion Edition. Up to five startups will compete at NYFW: The Shows for a chance to win a $25,000 award. The event will take place on Saturday, February 8, with a judging panel including SWAAY Media Founder and CEO Iman Oubou, Lindsey Taylor Wood, Founder and CEO of The Helm, and Visa executives Mary Ann Reilly, SVP, Head of North America Marketing and Kimberley Kadlec, SVP Global Marketing Solutions.

VEI is a global innovation program that tasks startups to solve commerce and payment challenges and provide visionary solutions for Visa's vast network of partners. In the five years since it launched, 6,000+ startups have participated at events around world – collectively raising more than $2.5 billion in funding. Learn more about the program here.

Sports x Fashion: Where Style and Performance Meet

If there were ever two different spheres that share an under-the-hood common core it’s fashion and sports. At the highest levels, elite practitioners make it look easy. At NYFW, Visa’s Mary Ann Reilly will introduce a panel discussion that peels back the sheen to reveal what achieving success really requires.

Marketing powerhouse Bozoma St. John will lead the Visa-hosted panel featuring eponymous fashion house leader and designer Cynthia Rowley, record-breaking running back and fashion ally Saquon Barkley, and world-champion surfer Carissa Moore to share insights about how they achieve their goals through a potent mix of confidence, preparation, and determination.

The Visa Everywhere Fashion Week Pop-Up Shop: Where Style Meets Statement

Extending the momentum from the previous seasons of NYFW, Visa is creating a new edition of its Visa Everywhere Pop-Up shop in Spring Studios. This season, Visa's retail experience shines a spotlight on women who dominate in sports, fashion and business.
