Tracking and reconciling company purchases can often be a harrowing task with or without an accounting department to manage the load. Line items aren’t always notated or categorized in a way that makes it easy to integrate them into financial systems. Now, with full-line item details available on Amazon Business purchases made with a commercial Visa card, participating issuers’ Visa commercial accountholders in the United States and United Kingdom will be able to seamlessly integrate transaction data with popular reconciliation tools. Customers will receive a more comprehensive view of purchases, greatly improving reconciliation and making life in the back office more efficient.
Companies with Amazon Business accounts already benefit from the value and convenience of the platform, which eliminates the hassle of dealing with multiple invoices and suppliers by providing streamlined order management as well as customized account-management tools (like multi-user accounts, company spending caps and approval workflows). Ability to search, compare and buy products from a slew of suppliers, with exclusive pricing and free shipping on eligible orders of $49 or more, tops off the perks.
The new feature is rolling out first with Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Citi and PNC commercial accountholders in the U.S. and Barclaycard, Citi, HSBC and Lloyds in the U.K.
This is all made easier thanks to Visa’s global commercial platform and Visa’s commitment to innovations that simplify and upgrade business practices for commercial cardholders worldwide. The collaboration with Amazon Business’ digital marketplace allows our commercial cardholders to spend less time reconciling purchases while taking advantage of Amazon's unparalleled digital business marketplace—and that’s just the beginning of what’s to come for Visa commercial cardholders everywhere.
