Supporting businesses affected by the outbreak of COVID-19 and other natural disasters
Visa recognizes that small businesses are the backbones of our communities and in many cases have been hit extremely hard by the mandatory closures and safety measures to help slow the spread of COVID-19.
The Back to Business Project can help consumers find small businesses that may have processed Visa transactions in the last 24 hours. How to support these businesses may be different depending on your area, depending on your local COVID-19 guidance. Please adhere to all state and local guidance.
How it works:
Scroll down and select a state and city, then filter by zip code or category of services.
Today, the tool returns results for the following emergencies and/or disasters as declared by Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA):
Tennessee Severe Storm & Straight-line Winds (Mar. 2020)
Mississippi Severe Storms, Tornadoes, Straight-line Winds & Flooding (Jan. 2020)
Vermont Severe Storms & Flooding (Oct. 2019)
New York Severe Storms & Flooding (Oct. 2019)
New York Covid-19
We are working to expand and grow the database in the coming weeks. If your state is not currently included, please check back.
Please note: The information has been filtered for small businesses based on official Government tables (Small Business Administration or SBA guidelines) and users should communicate directly with merchants to verify accuracy. All the information in this tool, which lists small businesses identified by Visa to have recently accepted a Visa transaction, is provided “as is” and without any warranty or representation of any kind. Results returned by this table are not to be considered an exhaustive list of merchants capable of providing services to an affected area and that other merchants may be in operation and serving an affected area. This tool is for informational purposes only, and does not imply endorsement or affiliation of any merchant by Visa. Visa assumes no liability or responsibility for (i) any errors or omissions in the content, or (ii) claims that may result from reliance by a user on such information.
