The Excellence in Innovation Award recognizes clients demonstrating innovative approaches to improving card program performance, cost savings, and cardholder satisfaction. As the recipients of the 2018 Excellence in Innovation award, Navy Federal Credit Union and Michigan State University Federal Credit Union traveled to New York for an Innovation Session this past summer.
Visa’s Innovation team has dedicated staff of industry experts in payments, electronic commerce, and user experience design, with a focus on understanding emerging trends in digital commerce and payments platforms, and ushering the next generation of seamless and secure commerce. Mark Jamison, SVP, Global Head of Innovation & Design, says, “We want to enable Visa clients to explore, develop, and commercialize impactful emerging payment experiences…together.”
Regarding their experience with the Innovation studio, Sara Dolan, CFO Michigan State University Federal Credit Union stated, “This session was helpful to see where the payments landscape is going and feel that MSU is on the right track.”
