Biography

Dr. Yujie Fan joined Visa Research as a Staff Research Scientist in June 2022. Yujie received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) in 2022. Before joining Visa Research, Yujie was a Research Assistant at CWRU. His Ph.D. dissertation focused on advancing heterogeneous graph representation learning techniques to help secure cyberspace and combat the global pandemic.

As a member of the Risk Modeling team, his research interests include deep learning, graph machine learning, and heterogeneous graph. He has published multiple works in top-tier conferences, including ACM SIGKDD International Conference on Knowledge Discovery and Data Mining (KDD), International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence (IJCAI), International Conference on Data Mining (ICDM), SIAM International Conference on Data Mining (SDM) and others.
