Robert Christensen
Research Scientist IV
Team: Transactional insights
Research areas: Scalable computation, distributed systems, resource management

Robert Christensen attended the University of Utah doing database systems research under Feifei Li. Research focused on data structures and algorithms that supported sampled results. Within Visa, Robert was a significant contributor to the internal Visa Machine Learning Platform, developing system optimization which have allowed for significantly more complicated batch workloads to run without negatively impacting interactive workloads. Within Visa Research, Robert works on scalable computation and distributed systems.
