Biography
Harshal joined Visa Research as a Senior Software Engineer in August 2021. Harshal received his M.S. in Information Security from Carnegie Mellon University and his bachelor’s from Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology. Prior to joining Visa, Harshal was a Software Engineer at HSBC, working on building on APIs for their internal platforms. Harshal also interned at Indian Space Research Organization where he was working on Shamir's Secret Sharing Scheme.
As a member of the Advanced Cryptography team, his research interests are broadly in the area of cryptography, with a focus on building prototypes for secure multiparty computation protocols and homomorphic encryption.
