Congratulations to S. Murphy of Texas, who struck it rich by winning the Visa World Shopping Tour Grand Prize worth $150,000!
Visa cardholders were automatically entered for a chance to win the shopping trip of a lifetime by using their Visa cards during the promotion period from May 1 through July 31, 2004.
Visa’s World Shopping Tour offered cardholders the chance to take three friends on an exciting shopping spree to their choice of three select cities throughout the world. The trip included airfare, hotel accommodations and a tour guide/driver, along with a generous amount of shopping money.

Visitors to the World Shopping Tour website on visa.com also had the chance to win one of 500 Simon Mall Visa Gift cards, valued at $100 each, in the Visa Instant Win game.
Contestants registered to play the online scratch and win game up to three times a day. If they revealed three matching game pieces, they won instantly and received an email with the details of their prize.
