Fun for Diabetic Children/Entrepreneur

In November 2002, my 8-year-old son was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. This life altering disease forces him to be responsible for a large number of supplies & medication which he must carry with him at all times. I went online to find a carrying case for his supplies and found that there are no medical supply companies that provide insulin carrying cases with a fun theme for children. This motivated me to create my KidzPak. I have worked hard to create a prototype, located and met with a local manufacturer who has created my pattern and agreed on production costs. I have also obtained an SBA mentor and developed a detailed business, financial and marketing plan. I hope to provide fun, colorful & unique styled cases for kids of all ages to use for their medical supplies. Part of my profits would be donated to fund diabetes research. We are close to a cure and I want to be part of that.
