Explore Visa Healthcare & Benefit Cards
Use your Visa Healthcare & Benefit card to directly access your FSA, HRA or HSA funds to pay for qualified medical expenses, like co-pays and prescriptions, instead of paying out-of-pocket and then filing for reimbursement or reconciling your HSA.

Use your card wherever Visa is accepted
Your Visa Healthcare & Benefit card works just like a regular debit card on all your qualified medical expenses, at healthcare locations and eligible merchants that accept Visa debit cards. (HSA plans may not have the same card restrictions. Check your plan details to be sure.)
Less paperwork, less waiting
You already have to do enough paperwork in the doctor’s office. The Visa Healthcare & Benefit card makes it easy by connecting you directly to your health benefit funds so you don’t have to pay out-of-pocket, file claims, wait for reimbursement, or reconcile your account later. Just make sure to keep a copy of the itemized receipt for your records.
Use your card for healthcare bills and online purchases
As long as the items are eligible medical expenses from a qualified merchant, you can use your Visa Healthcare & Benefit card for online purchases. You can also use your card to pay many of the healthcare bills you receive in the mail. Just look for the instructions on the invoice.
As secure as other Visa products
As with many Visa products, the Visa Healthcare & Benefit card is backed by the Visa Zero Liability Policy, which safeguards cardholders from unauthorized purchases.*

Get a card through your plan administrator
You probably received a card with your FSA /HRA plan materials following your enrollment. If you did not receive a card, ask your HR department or benefit plan administrator if your plan offers card access. If not, ask them to add it next year.
Though many employers offer HSA options during open enrollment, the HSA is the only plan you can get without going through an employer. For a Visa HSA card, contact the custodian/administrator of your HSA plan. If you did get your plan through your employer, they may also be able to help you.

What are health benefit accounts all about, anyway?
* Visa’s Zero Liability policy covers U.S.-issued cards only and does not apply to ATM transactions, PIN transactions not processed by Visa, or certain commercial card transactions. Cardholder must notify issuer promptly of any unauthorized use. Consult issuer for additional details or click here.
