Don’t worry — your financial institution doesn’t have to issue a Visa Buxx card in order for you to get one for your teen. Simply sign up with any one of the financial institutions that don’t require that you have an account with them. You can fund the Visa Buxx account with the credit card, debit card, or checking account you already have with your current financial institution. It’s just as easy as setting up other types of electronic fund transfers, such as direct deposit or bill pay. And since you access your Visa Buxx account information online or by phone, you don’t even need to have the financial institution’s branch near you.
