For the 2013-14 NFL season, Visa is giving NFL fans the chance to have their football fantasies fulfilled by creating and submitting their own personalized NFL fantasy to Visa through the MyFootballFantasy campaign. Fans can share their football fantasies using the #MyFootballFantasy hashtag on Twitter and Instagram, and via the visa.com/MyFootballFantasy microsite. Television commercials featuring San Francisco 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh, Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones and New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees will appear throughout the season, highlighting some of the potential football fantasies that could be fulfilled through the campaign. Visa, during the 2013-14 NFL season, will enjoy team relationships with the Arizona Cardinals, Atlanta Falcons, Baltimore Ravens, Buffalo Bills, Carolina Panthers, Denver Broncos, Indianapolis Colts, New England Patriots, New Orleans Saints, Minnesota Vikings, Pittsburgh Steelers and San Francisco 49ers. For each team, Visa is the preferred card for ticket sales, concessions and merchandise and has point-of-sale branding online and at all team payment terminals within the stadiums, including concession areas and team shops.
Visa, the NFL and NFL players are also teaming up for the ninth consecutive year to help students and adults take control of their financial future. Financial Football is a free money management video game and the centerpiece of a nationwide initiative to promote financial literacy. Visa has partnered with 37 state governments to distribute the Financial Football game to more than 15,000 middle and high schools. The online version of the game, available at www.practicalmoneyskills.com/football, has been played more than 450,000 times.
