Visa’s data security team provides valuable information regarding the latest data security trends, data breaches and attack vectors, best practices, and Visa compliance programs through an on-going series of conferences, webinars and training sessions.

Visa is hosting the 2014 North America Payment Card Security and Technology Symposium, an interactive forum to promote data security. This two day event on July 23rd and 24th will explore the rapidly evolving cyber security and payments landscape. Key segments of the symposium include topics on cyber security, intelligence sharing, fraud prevention, malware detection, and strengthening networks and Point-of-Sale (POS) environments. The general session is open to merchants and acquirers and will begin at 8:00 am on July 23rd. Key Management and PIN Security (1-Day)

Ensure that you have the necessary skills to properly safeguard PIN data and comply with Visa PIN Security and PCI PIN Security Requirements and Plus rules.

This one-day Key Management training provides up-to-date information on the management of cryptographic keys used in ATMs, PIN pads, cash dispensers and hardware security modules. These sessions are for staff involved in the management or operation of devices that accept PINs and for personnel who need practical knowledge about the elements of data encryption standard (DES) cryptography and the management of secret encryption keys.

Key Management and Visa PIN Security Compliance Validation (3-Day)

Gain practical knowledge about data encryption standard (DES) cryptography and the management of secret encryption keys.

This three-day Key Management and Visa PIN Security Compliance Validation training provides up-to-date information on the management of cryptographic keys used in ATMs, PIN pads, cash dispensers and hardware security modules. This course covers all topics addressed in the one-day Key Management training and offers an in-depth review of the new Payment Card Industry (PCI) PIN Security Requirements, providing internal and external assessors with the tools necessary to complete a Visa PIN security compliance review. Completion of this workshop entitles participants to obtain CPE credit.

Key Management and PIN Security for Plus Agents

Ensure that you and your Plus agents have the necessary skills to properly safeguard PIN data and comply with Visa PIN Security and PCI PIN Security Requirements and Plus rules.

This new course provides up-to-date information on the management of cryptographic keys used in ATMs, Encrypting PIN pads (EPP) and cash dispensers. It is designed specifically for Plus Agents (ISOs, ESOs and TPS') who deploy and support ATMs. Participants will learn the applicable Payment Card Industry (PCI) PIN Security Requirements so they have the necessary skills to properly safeguard PIN data and comply with Visa and Plus rules.
