While Visa would like to respond individually to every applicant, we receive an extremely high volume of applications and are only able to respond to those who have qualifications that match current openings.

Please review the following FAQs for answers to some of the most common questions people ask about careers at Visa. If you are having technical issues with the site, please refer to the technical information page to ensure that your browser is compatible.

Q: How do I search and apply for a position at Visa?

A: Click on the "Job Search" link to begin your search. You can search by using a job number or keyword and/or selecting relevant criteria. To submit your application for the job, click "Apply Now" and follow the online instructions. To learn more about creating your profile and online account, download the Applicant Guide.

Only resumes submitted electronically through Visa's online system will be considered.

Q: How do I search for a specific job number?

A: Enter the job number in the "Keyword" field and click "Go."

Q: How long after submitting my resume can I expect to hear from Visa?

A: All resume submissions are stored in our resume database. Visa recruiters will have access to your profile and may contact you if your background and skill set match the position(s) you have applied for or another current opening. Your resume will remain active in our database and will be considered for future openings matching your interests, experience and education.

Q: How do I send a job description to a friend?

A: Click "Send this job to a friend," which is located in the right column next to the job description. Enter your friend's e-mail address and your e-mail address – including a brief message is optional. The subject line will be pre-populated. All the relevant details on the job will be included in the message. Click "Send" to forward the information to your friend.

Q: I need some assistance with the online application process. Whom can I contact?

A: First review the technical information page and Applicant Guide. If you still require assistance in completing your application online, e-mail taleosupport@visa.com.

Q: Do I need to create a separate profile if I am applying for more than one position?

A: You can apply to multiple positions with the same profile. Note the job number and click on "Returning Job Applicants" on our career site. Enter the job number and click "Apply Online". The system will prompt you to log in with the username and password you selected when you created your profile. If you can't remember your log-in information, click "Forgot your password?" to reset your password.

Q: How do I update my profile to show additional information?

A: You can add additional information anytime by logging in to your account and editing your profile.

Q: Will I be at a disadvantage if I apply for several positions at the same time?

A: Not at all! You may apply for as many positions as you see fit, given your experience and qualifications. A Visa recruiter will review your resume and contact you with next steps if your background and skill set match the position(s) you have applied for or other active openings.

Q: Is there a way to check the status of my application online?

A: At this time, you are not able to check the status of your application online. You will be contacted by a Visa recruiter should your background and skill set match an open position.

Q: Does Visa accept resumes from agencies?

A: All unsolicited resumes/CV's submitted through our Web site or to personal e-mail accounts of employees of Visa Inc. and its subsidiaries are considered property of Visa Inc. and its subsidiaries and are not subject to payment of referral fees. In order to be an authorized Recruitment Agency/Search Firm for Visa Inc. and its subsidiaries, any such agency or firm must have a formal written agreement and active working relationships with our Talent Acquisition Department and submit resumes via the agency submittal instructions. Even with respect to authorized Recruitment Agencies/Search Firms, if the agency submittal instructions are not followed, no referral fees will be paid by Visa Inc. or its subsidiaries.
